Jan Stradtmann

Jan Stradtmann's photographs of Manor Garden Allotments pay tribute to the evicted allotment holders who represent the individuality, fantasy and vitality of a city with 7,5 million inhabitants. About to be demolished for the development of the Olympic Park, Stradtmann felt he was entering a crime scene and his night photography with strong directional lighting reflects his sense of outrage.
